CBI Coordinates Return of Wanted Fugitive Aman from US to India

New Delhi, January 8, 2026:
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully coordinated the return of wanted fugitive Aman from the United States to India in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The CBI said that Aman was taken into custody by a team of Haryana Police at Delhi Airport on January 7, 2026.
Aman alias Aman Bhainswal is wanted by Haryana Police in serious criminal offences related to murder, rioting, and criminal conspiracy.
He is a notorious criminal and a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the CBI said.
He was earlier arrested in India and was later granted bail. However, Aman did not face trial and absconded. The CBI got the Red Notice published at the request of Haryana Police through INTERPOL.
