Three Bangladeshi Nationals Detained in Assam

Cachar, June 30, 2025:

Three Bangladeshi nationals were detained by locals today in Katigorah, Cachar district of Assam, while they were attempting to cross the border and return to Bangladesh. 

The trio had reportedly entered India illegally and were intercepted by vigilant residents, SHABD reported. 

Handed Over to Police, Sent to Silchar

The detainees were handed over to the local police, who later transferred them to Silchar for further legal proceedings. Investigations continue into how they entered Indian territory.
