Ludhiana, November 20, 2025:
In a major breakthrough on November 20, 2025, Ludhiana Police successfully busted a Pakistan-based ISI-backed multi-state gangster-terror module linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
During a fierce encounter, two operatives of the terror module were shot, with one critically injured, as they attempted to carry out a grenade attack in the state, said Ludhiana CP.
Preliminary investigations revealed the accused were in contact with foreign-based handlers via operatives across different states to coordinate the pickup and delivery of explosives for terror attacks targeting government buildings and other sensitive locations to create unrest in Punjab.
An FIR has been registered at Jodhewal Police Station under sections of the Explosives Act and Arms Act.
So far, three other accused have been apprehended, including one linked to Pawan, the brother of Harry, who was involved in firing at Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai, the CP said.
The police recovered two Chinese 86P hand grenades, five sophisticated pistols, and over 40 rounds of ammunition. The investigation continues to explore further links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and associated terror networks.
